As from our previous entry.. we want to introduce how will our prototype looks like.

What is the features of this prototype design?

Multi-angle rotation

                                                 

Adjustable Length

Can extend till 1.5 meter long

Although our current prototype design does not have the rights for Intellectual Property claim as we using available resources to resemble our real product. Our aim is to add more ease access towards our current design as the sole purpose for this product is to reduce the holding time in automated access parking and highway toll. 

We hope that our product can solve drivers daily problem. This is one of the best approach to ease all drivers whether left side or right side driver. We also open to any sponsors that want to share this dream to market this product for our ease of driving in the future.

Manufacturing Chosen Ideas

From our previous entry we have selected Adjustable Pod as our final product. Current stage is to manufacture a working prototype that can suits a real develop product function. A large amount of funding are needed in order to perfectly manufacture the product.

Below are the material used for our prototype manufacturing and the projected cost for one prototype.

Screening and Selection In order to find the best product that satisfy our potential customer needs, a selection table were develop as shown below. The usage of SMART TAG is set as our benchmark in the product selection.

Sensitivity Test

In order to determine whether our chosen product from previous selectivity table is the best, we conducted the sensitivity test. We change the weightage of certain criteria to see either the selected product still the best product to be chosen.

From the above sensitivity test, we can conclude that Adjustable Pod still the best product idea to be chosen. Although the total score dropped from 6.2 to 5.5. It is still the highest rank above the others.

Thus, it conclude our selections for the next prototype manufacturing.
